As drones increase in popularity, police are being called upon to investigate incidents involving drones. Citizen complaints of drones invading their privacy have increased as have incidents of people shooting down drones. Reports of drones flying over sensitive infrastructures like prisons, government buildings, power stations, and sporting events necessitate that law enforcement officials become familiar with the laws which regulate them. Is your agency prepared to investigate a drone-related incident? Are you familiar with the laws which regulate drones? How would your agency respond to these types of threats?

This training will help you to understand the complicated mix of local, state and federal laws which regulate drones and help you be better prepared to investigate drone-related incidents.
