Surveys have shown that a majority of first responders stress over finances and bring that stress and lack of focus to the job, which affects the safety and productivity of the entire workforce. In addition to workplace concerns, financial discord is one of the major reasons for divorce which also results in personal and professional stress and affects employee behavior.

Police agencies are constantly on the lookout for training topics relating to officer performance and wellness, but mistakenly believe financial literacy is a personal issue and should be addressed at home. Most organizations only address employee financial issues on the first day of hire even though many officers would be in favor of receiving ongoing financial training. In fact, a recent Wall Street Journal article pointed out Generation Y and Z view employer sponsored financial training as a top recruiting and retention perk!

This webinar is designed to provide tools and resources to educate the police officer on financial issues that might affect the officer, the family, and the agency. This webinar will also provide a training outline and justification for the innovative public safety agency considering providing financial training to recruits, veterans, and family members.

The Dolan Consulting Group encourages public safety agencies to consider sponsoring this webinar for new employees as well as veteran employees and recommends public safety employees view this webinar with their loved ones.
