Planning for retirement should begin on the first day of your career but unfortunately most public safety employees wait until they are ready to retire to get serious about how they plan to spend their “golden years.” Surveys show most public safety employees stress finances and any long-term retirement planning, although they want to understand how to prepare for a stress- free retirement.

Retirement Planning for Public Safety is a two -hour webinar presented by the Dolan Consulting Group and instructed by Captain Brian Nanavaty (ret) who created the award- winning Indianapolis Metro PD Development and Wellness office credited with being the inspiration for the 2019 Law enforcement Mental Health and Wellness Act. Additionally, Nanavaty served as IMPD Finance, Payroll, and Pensions Director and spent over a decade as a Fiduciary for the $60 million IMPD 457 Deferred Compensation Plan.

During this presentation Captain Nanavaty will discuss planning for retirement using his Three-Sided Triangle Approach© of Financial, Physical and Emotional/Mental Health awareness and other pertinent topics designed to reduce the stress of retirement planning for your employees and families.

One of the best gifts an agency could give to employees; from recruit to veteran, is the gift of knowledge that will last a lifetime. Whether the agency offers the two-hour live webinar or the recorded version, the information will provide a foundation for planning a healthy retirement, in addition to reducing stress for the employee. As with most of Captain Nanavaty’s trainings, the Dolan Consulting Group encourages and recommends public safety employees to view this webinar with their partners or significant others.
